Alsatia is very excited to be joining the Croft Community as a Science Teacher! She graduated from her hometown college, Howard Payne University, with a BA in Criminal Justice and an emphasis in Restorative Justice. Shortly after graduating her spark for teaching quickly ignited when she taught English as a Second Language online. Even through a screen, she felt a passion in helping her students grow and learn. After teaching online, Alsatia then moved across the world to Mokpo, South Korea where she taught English in a private academy. For three years she taught from ages 5 to 14, and even had the opportunity to teach a few seminars at Mokpo University! Now, back in the USA, Alsatia is ready to bring her passion for teaching to The Croft School! In her spare time, Alsatia enjoys reading, writing, playing volleyball, hosting dinners, and walking daily. As a native Texan moving to Boston, she also looks forward to exploring the city and finding the best coffee shop around!
