Amy began her career working with children back in high school where she worked after school with infants and preschoolers and began taking Child Development courses. Her love of children and interest in the way their brains develop and learn led her to her undergraduate path where she studied Psychology and Elementary Education at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Amy continued her journey in education by earning her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, also from Champlain College. Amy has since spent many years teaching at the elementary level in various places including Vermont, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Rhode Island. Amy lives in North Kingstown with her husband and enjoys spending time outside hiking, kayaking, running, grilling, and enjoying the beach. During the summertime she spends time at her lake house in New Hampshire with her family (including 3 nephews and a niece) swimming, boating, fishing, and water skiing. During the winter months she can be found at Gillette Stadium cheering on the Patriots.
