Anya Oleck

Associate Teacher


Anya is a new Boston resident and a graduate student at Boston University Wheelock College studying Early Childhood and Special Education. She brings a love for STEM after her work at Curious Jane, an all-girls STEM program. She was previously an assistant teacher at a preschool on the Upper West Side in New York City and has taught science after school in Brooklyn for many years. Anya found her love for teaching in elementary schools from her science teacher, Carmelo the Science Fellow who instilled a love for learning. When not working with kids, Anya enjoys biking and running, cooking and baking, going to hockey games, visiting her dog and cats in Western Mass, and fundraising for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
