Ayanna comes to Croft from Match Community Day where she most recently taught second grade. Ayanna is in her 7th year of teaching, having taught high, middle, and elementary school. Before teaching, Ayanna worked in the arts (specializing in photography and graphic design) and during the summer, she teaches computer science and coding to teens. She is in her 5th year in Boston, originally coming from Philadelphia, PA. She holds a Bachelor’s in English and Psychology from Howard University as well as a Master’s in Effective Teaching from the Charles Sposato Graduate School of Education. Ayanna is excited to be joining a school community similar to her own educational upbringing. She is looking to create curious minds and foster a love of creativity, innovation, and problem solving.
