Camila graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a degree in Comparative Literature with a focus in Literary Translation. Prior to moving to Rhode Island, Camila lived in Puerto Rico, where she volunteered as an art teacher working with elementary school-aged children. During her time in college, she volunteered as an ESOL teacher, working primarily with adult English learners from Central America. She is committed to fostering linguistically and culturally inclusive learning communities. In her free time, Camila enjoys hiking, exploring Rhode Island, and trying her hand at new languages.
