Jackie joined Croft in 2024. She believes that learning can and should be engaging, rigorous, and joyful, and she is inspired by the fact that teachers at Croft facilitate such experiences for their students every day.
Jackie has been a passionate educator for over 15 years, where she has found tremendous joy and inspiration from working with children, collaborating with fellow educators, and building connections with students' families. Jackie began her career as a Teach For America Corps Member and has since worked as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school leader in New Orleans, Washington DC, and Boston. She has extensive experience designing and leading professional development on classroom and school culture, the strategic and meaningful utilization of student achievement data, and academic/instructional content, including the comprehensive implementation of new curricula. She loves engaging in thought partnership with colleagues to refine schoolwide systems, improve logistics and operations, and develop community initiatives.
Jackie lives in Roslindale with her husband and two children, where she enjoys running, baking and eating sweet treats, being outside, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with loved ones.
