Kailyn Shippee is a Rhode Island native who grew up in Newport Country but now resides in Foster. She holds a BS in Environmental Education from Unity College, America's Environmental College. Kay spent 8 years teaching Outdoor Education and managing summer camps before making the jump to the classroom. In her free time, she loves to hike with her family (Ian, Matilda, and Bowen) and dogs (Fenway and Gansett), they are currently working their way through the Rhode Island Walks Creature Challenge.
