Kate has 12 years of experience working in K-12 education, with a focus on operations. Most recently, Kate coached and managed school based operational leaders as the Managing Director of Operations at a non-profit school turnaround organization in Massachusetts. There, she systemized the approach to leader preparedness through creation and execution of development programming for all operations roles. Before this, Kate spent time in Baltimore, Maryland as the Regional Director of Operations for a nationally-recognized charter school network, where she coached operational leaders and streamlined operational functions across the organization. Prior to this, she served as Director of Operations for a high performing charter school where she was a founding team member and led the school through their expansion phase of growth. Kate began her career in education in Connecticut, on the founding teams of two charter schools, overseeing admissions, data, and student experience work.
