Kelsie was born with a teacher heart and joins Croft with 10 years experience teaching in New England and abroad. A native Nebraskan, she graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a B.A. in Spanish. After teaching English as a Foreign Language in Spain and South Korea, she moved to Massachusetts to earn her Master of Arts in Teaching from Clark University. While teaching in a large urban district for five years, Kelsie developed a passion for curriculum and pedagogy. She is excited to call Rhode Island her new home and continue her teaching and learning journey with the Croft community. Outside of school, Kelsie loves reading, solving puzzles, hiking, visiting her niece and nephew, and checking countries off her travel bucket list.
