Matt has worked as an educator since he joined Teach For America in 2005. He has taught and worked as a school administrator across grades K-8 in New York City, New Orleans, the Bay Area, and most recently here in Boston. Matt's educational interests include inquiry and discussion based learning, mindfulness in schools, and social emotional learning. Matt is a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, and has a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Pace University in New York City. Matt lives in Cambridge with his husband, David, and daughter, Maya.
