Miranda Featherstone

School Counselor


Miranda comes from a family of educators, and taught preschool for several years in Brooklyn, NY after completing her undergraduate degree at Harvard College. She received a dual masters degree in Child Development and Social Work from Sarah Lawrence College and New York University. In her work as a school social worker she has provided school-based counseling in public, private, and charter schools in New York City and Philadelphia. Miranda is also a writer whose essays about children and parenting have appeared in the New York Times. She and her family recently relocated to Rhode Island and she is re-acclimating to all that is wonderful (and chilly) about New England life!
