Samantha Angell

Grade 1 Teacher


Samantha is a graduate of The University of Rhode Island, where she studied Human Development and Family Studies (Bachelors) and Early Childhood Education (Graduate Certificate). While at URI, Samantha received the Jumpstart Spark Award and the Teaching Excellence Award for student teaching. She has worked in charter schools for ten years in various capacities including being an after-school program coordinator, 1-on-1 paraprofessional, substitute teacher in grades K-5, and most recently as a Kindergarten Teacher.  Samantha was born and raised in Rhode Island and currently resides in Smithfield.  When she is not teaching Sam likes to walk her dog, sit by her pool, visit her mom in Narragansett, go out to dinner, listen to podcasts, and binge watch Netflix.
