Peter is thrilled to be the Founding Head of School at the Croft School. Peter comes to Croft after serving as a Vice Principal at the K-8 Lawrence School in nearby Brookline, where he most recently worked with K-2 students, families, and teachers. Prior to that, Peter completed a PhD program in Educational Studies at the University of Michigan, with a focus on Teaching and Teacher Education. Peter taught 4th grade in two NYC Public Schools, PS 29 and PS 161. He loved developing classroom community, sparking debates about read aloud books and real world math problems, and engaging in project-based learning experiences with students. Prior to teaching in NYC, Peter taught English in Spain, attended Brown University, and grew up in Old Lyme, CT. In his free time, Peter enjoys playing sports, singing, reading, and traveling to Maine, Michigan, and abroad.
