Rachel has been teaching in the early childhood field for thirteen years. She has had a love of working with young children since starting her own neighborhood summer camp at 12 years old. Rachel is a graduate of Plymouth State University where she completed her BA in Early Childhood Education. Rachel has continued her love of learning and working with young children through training at the Cambridge Montessori Institute as well as working towards a Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Rhode Island College. Rachel’s experience includes both private schools in which she has coordinated programs and started up new early childhood programs as well as public school experience. Rachel lives in Portsmouth with her husband, daughter and son and has a deep love for the outdoors, beach, yoga and reading.
