Rosemary is excited to be serving the Croft community as a second grade teacher. She was born and raised in Queens, New York (Let’s Go Mets!) She graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Sexuality, Women’s and Gender Studies. She credits the beginning of her passion for education to her college years, where she had the opportunity to serve many different communities in various educational settings, such as after school programs, GED adult classes, and online book forums. As she worked in classrooms as an associate teacher, she worked towards obtaining her Masters in Childhood Education at Hunter College. She has taught in pre-K, first, and second grade classrooms and most enjoys getting to see children find their passions and share what they know and love. In her spare time, Rosemary enjoys reading, running outdoors, watching sitcoms, doing the NYT crossword puzzle, and being in good company.
