Shilpa is incredibly excited to be the Founding Assistant Head of School at the Croft School. Shilpa comes to Croft after serving as an instructional coach and teacher in Boston, after recently working with K-5 Science, 2nd Grade, and Associate Teachers. Shilpa has been teaching and learning in Boston for the past 10 years. She completed her M.Ed at Boston University in Curriculum and Teaching and prior to that, attended Northeastern University with a focus on Elementary Education and Psychology. In her previous work, Shilpa loved working with families, promoting equity work, developing hands-on learning opportunities, and creating joyful classroom communities. In her free time, Shilpa enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, drinking coffee, and reading. She can't wait to build relationships with students and families, work with teachers on rigor and spark, and be a part of the Croft community!
